On May 7th, 2006, Care Ministry celebrated two years of
Caring as Jesus Cares. God continues to shower his
blessings upon us.
By simply making ourselves available for "God to
do a miracle through", He has fulfilled His promise
of miracles within our Care Team members and in
countless lives touched through our Care Ministry.
I have been blessed to see countless miracles in our
Care Ministry team members and witnessed countless
miracles in the lives of those touched by God through
Care Ministry. One example was Candy Bennett, who was
invited by a former Care Ministry member to Wednesday
night dinner and Real Life. Candy came on a
Wednesday, and returned the following Sunday.
The ministry team cared for her on that Sunday.
The following Wednesday night she received a "cookie
delivery", at which time she had a real need in her
life. Candy’s later said: "It was like getting a hug
from God." WOW! God can take the smallest things and
turn them into WOW moments! Can you feel the "God
bumps?"
I want to thank our Care Team members and leaders
for their devotion to God, having made themselves
available for God to do a miracle through their
lives.
